In March, R-Dent had the pleasure of hosting the webinar, “Next Level Dentures In 3 Appointments,” featuring the esteemed Jimmy Stegall. This event offered attendees a deep dive into the realm of modern denture fabrication, highlighting the latest advancements in 3D printing technology and materials.
Throughout the webinar, participants were treated to a comprehensive overview of cutting-edge techniques aimed at enhancing the strength, precision, and aesthetics of dentures. Jimmy Stegall, a seasoned expert with over four decades of experience in dental operational, management, and technical fields, led the discussion with his wealth of knowledge and expertise.
One of the key highlights of the webinar was the emphasis on clinical guidelines to streamline chairside procedures. Attendees gained invaluable insights into the essential clinical records required for success and effective acquisition, as well as the evolution of denture impressions and current standards and practices.
Moreover, Stegall introduced a simplified three-appointment approach to digital denture creation, revolutionizing the traditional fabrication process. At the recent Memphis Dental Society’s (MDS) Fall New Dentist Event, R-Dent helped sponsor an evening of fun, networking, and soccer at the Autozone Park/Redbirds Stadium. This event, designed to connect new dentists and dental colleagues, along with their families, was a memorable experience. Attendees enjoyed a Memphis 901FC soccer game against Hartford Athletic while indulging in complimentary food and beverages. With over 80 new dentists, their families, sponsors, and MDS Board members in attendance, the event was a tremendous success.
R-Dent believes in the power of networking within the dental community. The Fall New Dentist Event exemplified this spirit, providing a platform for dentists to connect and forge lasting bonds. It was an opportunity to meet like-minded colleagues and share a passion for dentistry.

R-Dent recently had the privilege of attending the GPS Dental Summit, hosted by Guided Practice Solutions (GPS) Dental. As a dedicated Dental Service Organization (DSO), GPS Dental’s mission revolves around making the transition of dental practice ownership seamless. Their goal is to empower dental professionals while enhancing the patient experience. With 37 dental practices and 74 doctors under their umbrella, GPS Dental boasts an impressive commitment to core values, including clinical autonomy, community service, strong retention systems, and continual growth and improvement.
GPS Dental’s first Continuing Education Event took place in Dallas, Texas. The summit was a significant milestone for GPS Dental and offered an exciting opportunity for networking, learning, and growth. The event featured vendor booths and speakers from partner vendors, and it was open to monetary sponsors who played a crucial role in supporting this educational initiative.

The William F. Slagle Dental Meeting was held in Memphis Tennessee, where R-Dent Dental Laboratory had the privilege of being a vendor sponsor. The theme for 2023 was “Remembering the Past, Embracing the Present and Shaping the Future of Dentistry.” And over the weekend conference, entire dental teams (dentists, hygienists, and assistants) had the opportunity to participate in courses designed specifically for them to enhance and sharpen their skills within the dental field, and re-certify in all the required annual and bi-annual courses needed for licensure.
The William F. Slagle Dental Meeting is sponsored by The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Dentistry Alumni Association. All profits from the William F. Slagle Dental Meeting are used to support dental education programs at The University of Tennessee.

R-Dent Dental Laboratory attended the Life Dental Group 2023 Team Summit in Oxford, Mississippi where dental professionals and business managers from Life Dental Group’s practices across Mississippi and Alabama gathered to learn about the latest technologies and newest techniques in dentistry. Life Dental also used the Team Summit to officially launch Local Life, the company’s effort to support local commuinities through ongoing charitable donations, as well as sponsorship of youth sports teams and other activities.

R-Dent Dental Laboratory warrants that all dental devices are made according to the doctor’s specifications and approval in the belief that the device will be useful and makes no other warranties including, but not limited to, any implied warrant of merchantability or fitness of a particular purpose. This Limited Warranty and Limitation of Liability will be extended with the presentation of a verified proof-of-purchase, which includes an original invoice number/date, patient’s name, and the original model. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of a device and does not extend to patients or other individuals and/or entities to whom the device(s) is/are sold, implanted, inserted, or delivered. Subject to the return of a device that is placed and then fails, the lab will repair or remake the device without charge for the cost of materials and workmanship or credit the original price paid, at the lab’s option. Specific product warranties are sent with each individual case and is warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for the period specified from the delivery date.
What Is Covered:
◊ Repair or replacement of the product.
What Is Not Covered:
◊ Cash refund of prosthesis.
◊ Cost incurred for removal or reinsertion.
◊ Repairs resulting from accident, neglect, abuse, failure of supportive tooth or tissue structures, improper adjustments or improper dental hygiene.
◊ Incidental or consequential damages including inconvenience, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
◊ Implant cosmetic or precision attachment cases.
◊ Shipping costs for repairs.
Conditions Which Must Be Met For Warranty To Apply:
◊ Prosthesis must be inserted by a licensed practicing dentist.
◊ Patient must adhere to a semi-annual dental maintenance program (cleaning and exam) in the office of a licensed practicing dentist.
◊ Within the limitations of the warranty, the prosthesis, written work authorization and the Original Invoice must be sent to R-Dent Dental Laboratory.
